Uniting Pathways to Excellence
Dinner & Conversation

Alabama is the nation’s seventh poorest state, and more than 798,000 Alabamians – including over 237,000 children – live in poverty. Alabama’s median household income is at a peak of $53,900. However, the gap between Alabama’s median household income and the national median household income stands at $15,727.

Since 1993, the work of Alabama Possible has been grounded in the mission of breaking down barriers to prosperity through education, advocacy, and collaboration. Thanks to supporters and partners like you, Alabama Possible continues to assist learners throughout Alabama in re-imagine a future of prosperity for themselves and generations to come.

That’s what the many bodies of work led by Alabama Possible is simply about…generations to come. We must continue to change the narrative to one that embodies postsecondary pathways being afforded by all; neighbors coming together to better their communities; and Alabama no longer being amongst the poorest states in the nation.

Progress is being made, but much is yet to be accomplished. In the face of uncertainty, we look forward to your ongoing support and partnership as we forge forward in uniting pathways to excellence in education and workforce on our journey to breaking down barriers to prosperity in Alabama.

Again, on behalf of the Alabama Possible Board of Directors and our small but mighty team, thank you for your partnership in uniting pathways to excellence!
